First Visit
Upon entering our office, our front desk assistant will welcome you and get you acclimated to how things work in our office. She will make sure that all paperwork has been filled out and give you a tour of our office to make you feel at home.
Introduction: You will meet with Dr. Cole, and he will review your health and health goals and determine which steps are necessary to most adequately assess your health and function. We want to learn more about you, and we hope you’ll understand more about your health expression.
Examination: After the doctor has discussed the examination process with you, he will start the examination. First the doctor will palpate (feel) your spine to interpret the function of your nervous system by how the spine, which completely encases the nervous system, moves. We are looking for areas of restriction or limited motion that could indicate nerve disturbance.
Once we’ve established how your spine moves, we will perform nerve efficiency and balance tests. These non-invasive and painless tests provide us a window into your nerve function. Because everything in our bodies is controlled by the nervous system, it is important to have this checked on a regular basis to determine if all the messages are being sent to your vital organs without disturbance or interference.
X-Ray Studies: If it is determined that subluxation could be present, and that it could be affecting your spine, we will utilize x-rays. These images will tell us if any damage has been done to your spine from subluxation over time, which will enable us to determine a reasonable course for care to address your given situation.
Consultation: Upon completion of your exam Dr. Cole will sit down with you and discuss your health history and any current health concerns that you may have. You will discuss not only how you feel, and how long you may have been experiencing your health problems, but more importantly what are your current health goals and how best to achieve them. Your goals are not just symptom relief but also increased energy, better sleep, better stress management, and increased overall health.
Second Visit
Results of Tests: After your consultation, our front desk assistant will help you schedule your results of tests appointment.
This is one of the most important visits in our office because we will discuss your test results and provide a road map for achieving your ultimate health goals. The visit is designed to help you identify not only the doctor’s role in your healthcare, but more importantly, your own. After an in depth case review, the doctors will meet with you to individually review your tests and will be beginning your care immediately to address your health concerns.
Regular Care Visit
Our office is designed to give you the ultimate healing experience while allowing you the most efficient care possible.
The express systems in our office allow you to come in for care and be out the door, often within 10 minutes. The doctor’s role is a crucial one in your healing – assessing and correcting nerve disturbance at each visit. Ultimately, it is your body’s job to heal, which will happen most efficiently and effectively after each adjustment.
