Protein Bars

Ingredients
1 c honey
1 c almond butter
3-4 T milled flaxseeds
3 scoops natural whey protein powder
1 c sesame seeds
1/2 c dried fruit (e.g. blueberries)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small pot, heat honey until runny. Add almond butter and mix until smooth. Continue heating and stirring on low for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add milled flaxseed and protein powder and mix well. Stir in whatever else you like! Examples are seeds, nuts, dried fruit, etc. After everything is mixed, spread into an 8X8 pan lined with foil (a larger pan can be used to make thinner bars). The foil can have some sesame seeds on it before you pour mixture in; this helps it to not stick and also adds more seeds. Put in oven for 8 minutes. Let cool, and place in fridge. Cut up and ENJOY!
